Loud idle loud engine timing belt or valve adjustments

whats up azine my 2004 Acura TL is close to 92000 miles and recently the engine has started to idle loud and make loud engine noise especially when the a/c is on i thought it was the timing belt starting to go and was going to do the 105k service but after more reading i am starting to think i need a valve adjustment what advice can you guys give me on this ? any help i greatly appreciated

does an aging timing belt make noise?
i know that the car is getting up there in years also so timing belt is around the corner anyway... but engine noise is whats really bugging.

No you won't hear the timing belt at 92k

Does it sound like a diesel engine?
if it does, mosty likely valve adjustment needed

It should be easy to hear it between 2 cars... on a one way road for example
sounds just like diesel engine

i guess you can say it sounds like a diesel engine it sounds deep and solid if that makes any sense... the noise persists through P-R-D-L especially loud on reverse. It also gets louder with the ac on. it also makes a clicking noise every once in a while

When you start up the car does it have difficulties? When accelerating, does it have difficulties, and when idle does it shake violently?

well it does sometimes hesitate more then before to start but doesn't seem( at least to me) to be an engine struggle....
it shakes pretty good at idle i even thought it might be the motor mounts but those were good..and it still accelerates pretty good i haven't noticed too much difference in acceleration but then again i don't drive the car everyday like i used, its my gf dd

Let's not get the cart ahead of the horse. Rule out/in the serpentine connection first and go from there.

This post has nothing to do with adjusting valves.
Can't combine both in my mind.

Valve sound is always there, no negative no positive, always same, it's like engine sound changes, that's all.

Not loud sometimes or quiet.. no clicking noise once in a while or not...
Don't go into adjusting, if that post^ is exactly what's going on

Well I can deal with the engine getting louder but this isnt normal within 3 months the engine noise tripled ..can you.give me any other advice ? cuz I happen to think based off the quick increase in engine noise that it isnt "normal"

I didn't have any issue with serpintina. So don't know what to say. No feelings to it

Whatelse..
I just replaced my engine mounts, Front was broken, side was loose as hell
When I shift it R, it felt like something was kicking under the hood. Vibrate and loud noise at the same time. Other than that it acts normal while driving. Unless you go in to bump, hole or something

actually go check it, take someone with you, open the hood, hit the brake and give it a gas at the same time. ask the guy if engine is jumping or not.

"to idle loud and make loud engine noise especially when the a/c is on"
but this has nothing to do with engine mounts.
R and D is oke but...
R feels like something is not turning right, but it was just the mounts
