Loud engine thumping noise on cold starts
My car ('06 TL auto) has been making this slap / thumping noise ONLY on cold starts. It seems to come from the top part of the engine.
I've gotten valve adjustments done by the dealer about 20K miles ago.
What are possible things that would cause this noise on cold starts? After the engine is fully warm, this noise is pretty much gone.
