Im loosing coolant very slowly, I haven't added any since Ive had it, when I bought the car it was full, ive had it for about 8 months, and the coolant is just below the minimum mark now, any reason why this would happen, I haven't noticed any leaks.

 

Look at the small rubber hose connecting the radiator cap to the tank.
typically that's where it would leak from. You'll see small white residue built up under / around the hose and top of radiator.

Maybe the overflow tank was filled without topping off the radiator when it was purchased?


if no leaks are found, probably the overfill tank was topped off but not the radiator when you purchased it.
