Dear Patrons,

Need advice here please, i am new here.

I have 05 Acura TL(NO NAVI) and I noticed that when i press the lock or unlock button on my remote key, all the exterior lights flash except the left turn light.
However, when i turn on the left turn indicator on my steering, the lights flash.

Its weird, but what could be the possible reasons and best possible resolution for it.
I appreciate all your suggestions

please not, when i I say left turn light, i mean the light next to headlamps and not the side marker.

 

i had this problem too. except it was my passenger side.

my passenger side turn signal would not light up when i hit the remote to unlock or lock the car. it also would not turn on when i turn my parking lights on.

however it did turn on when i hit the turn signal to signal a right turn. all i did was replace the bulb with a new one and it works just fine now

 

its just lil odd that , you know the lights work when turning on the side indicators but just wont blink/flash while locking/unlocking..I wonder it could be the fuse too..

 

how much did it cost you to change the bulb??

and you are right. i thought the EXACT same thing. "Why does it come on when i turn on the hazards and right turn signal, but it doesn't flash when i unlock or lock my car?"

but for some reason... buying a new pair of bulbs worked.

 

There are two filaments in the turn signal bulbs. One for the turn signal and the other for the parking light. One can still function if the other one is out.

 

+1 dual filament bulbs it has a lo/high side just as some headlights have a lo/high side.

 

I posted something similar all u have to do is just change the bulb

 

I have never done this ..but..did you guys change the bulb by yourself or took it to a mechanic..coz if its not much of a hassle to change it myself..i could save some$$..
And if i could do it myself..where do i start from?
