Key Remote Battery

I have an 07 TL-S and have been noticing that the remote does not operate as well as it used to. After hitting the open button 2x the rear or passenger doors may not unlock unless I hit the button again. It also seems I need to be closer to the car as well. I opened up the remote but did not see a battery. It must be in there though. Is it user replaceable?

Theres a screw on the backside where you have the keyloop to attach other keys. Remove that screw and it should be there. Keep in mind that you will have to reprogram they key with the car once you change out the battery

I took out the one screw and opened it up. There is no battery to be seen!

i changed out the battery in my remote recently thinking that was the cause for the remote problems (i.e. unlock/lock doors from a distance, hold down the unlock button to roll down windows from more than 15 feet away both suck). Yet i still have the problems i had before the new battery. i wonder if it is a reciever problem.
