Hey,

I just bought a switchblade key.
I plan on hacking up my key and swapping my current cut key AND its immobilizer.

This is the immobilizer from the switchblade:



Is our non-switchblade key the same immobilizer size?

Or is it like this?:

I have the same "V" as the key in the pic:


OR better, is the immobilizer already in the switchblade compatible with our ECU?

I would rather get my ECU reprogrammed to work with the immobilizer in the switchblade already and pay the cost at the dealer than try swapping immobilizers from my old key to the switchblade.
