I have an 04 TL manual transmission and the neither key fobs will lock the doors. I can unlock the doors and open the trunk but not lock the doors. I can lock the doors with the key in the door. I also saw that the security light on the door is not coming on. I have changed the battery and relinked the key fobs but I still have the problem.

I have read several threads and wasn't able to find the exact fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your fuse for the interior lights is likely blown. Did you recently switch to LEDs without removing the fuse during the switch?

 

The interior lights work fine. It's just the locks won't lock.

 

Sorry misread your op. Thought you said your lights weren't working!
