Hey guys, I just bought my first type s automatic 135,458 miles. Just wanted to see how to keep the transmission healthy and what others maintenance I should do it. So far the car drives really smooth, I'm in love.

 

Periodic ATF changes (use only Honda DW-1) and 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches.

 

I changed the trans fluid on my 07' TL Type S every 15,000/20,000 since new. Sadly at 160,000 miles it started leaking from the case. It was a shame, because it shifted fine. I got a remanufactured one from Acura.
