Jerkiness when changing gears

Jerkiness when changing gears
So I bought my 2005 TL a couple of months ago from a local dealer. Four days after I bought it the engine just quit on me. It's a long story...suffice it to say it was kind of a freak thing with the cooling fan breaking off, shooting into the radiator and draining all of the fluids. The whole engine had to be replaced...thank god I bought the extended warranty through Zurich.
The thing now is the car kind of jerks when it changes gears. It's not as smooth as I thought it would be. I'm not sure if it's due to the new engine, as I can't really remember how it was in the four days prior to the engine going out. It's especially noticeable when it shifts into second. I don't know if all TL's are a tad jerky when switching gears, or if it's definitely something I should ask the dealer about. Any thoughts/ideas? Thanks guys.

Check out this thread, seems like this is working for a lot of people. I'm going to do it as well.

If your cooling fan broke before the new engine...I would assume engine mounts are already out if not most on the way. Did they change those with the engines? If they havent that would be what I would check first.
