Issue with sub display
Been having this issue for some time in my 04 TL. My sub display works perfectly fine when the lights arent on. As soon as the lights are switched on the entire sub display blacks out completely. I have no clue what would cause this, and i assume the display is still good, since it works perfectly fine during the daytime. Any suggesstions on this issue would be appreciated.

Turn the brightness up. It does this for me too if I have the brightness too low when it gets really cold out, but if I turn it up it lights back up. I think the LED lights have a hard time working at lower light level when they are cold.

im not talking about the navigation system, im talking about the display screen above the navi. It wasnt blacking out completely like this a few months ago. At nite it completely dissapears so i have no way of seeing the time or any other info that it displays.
Sorry about that. It was late last night lol.
I'm not aware of any situation where the display is supposed to go completely out even if you have the brightness all the way down though I've never actually tried it. Definately going to try it later today.
I don't know about the TL specifically but in some cars when you switch on the headlights it goes to a different circuit and a different fuse.
