Hi guys searched but did not get any answer. anyone know how to tighten the vanity visors for an 06 TL? My driver side is loose and would like to tighten her like when she was brand new..Thanks all

 

Had the same problem on my '07TLS and could not find an adjustment so replaced it for about $60.00. Not hard to change but waited about three weeks to have it made so the parts guy told me.

After replacing it I took the old one apart and other than something that looks like a small metal taco shell wrapped around a piece of metal that resembles a pinch hinge, I still couldn't see how it was adjustable.

 

doh! $60...I guess i'll live with it until it annoys me. its not as loose to the point where its flapping, it does stay in place but would like it like the day i got her.Thanks for the reply

 

Mine became more flaccid as time went by and wouldn't stay up no matter what I tried and for the 60 bucks I thought it was a pretty good investment rather than leaning over and punching and swearing at it on the short drive to Vegas
