Issue with climate control

I have a '05TL and having trouble with the climate controls. Started this winter, I had the temperature set to auto 70F and getting cold outside air into the car.
Now that summer is here I am having the same kind of issue, climate controls set to auto 70F and getting hot air out of the vent on driver's side. Bought a couple of instant read thermometers to get an idea of the temperatures coming out of the 3 vents, After a 45 minute drive home, outside temperature was 88F, the air was still on recycle setting. The center and right side vents were about 40F and the driver's side vent was 80F. It seems like there is some vent door or something that is not closing.

Anyone else have this problem? The dealership has had it for a couple days now and not sure what the problem is. They told me today they are going to have to call Acura Technical tomorrow.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

For anyone having this problem in the future. Acura fixed it today and found it was the driver's side air mix motor.
Part# 79166-SEP-AO2 $354 for the motor and $235 for the labor + tax.
All vents about 40F with a setting of 70F on auto.
