Intermittent Check Engine Light HELP!
Hey guys,
I have a 2006 Acura TL (5AT) that just hit 100k miles. My check engine light has been coming off and on over the past few days. I had the code read but I can't remember the numbers. It was bank 1 sensor 1 - heat circuit or something like that. So far the light comes on for a day then shuts off for a day. Car runs perfect. Tons of power, great gas mileage...this doesn't make any sense. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I had the same exact thing with my 2006 TL and failed the emissions test - My light was intermittent and eventually came on permanent.
I called my Acura Dealer and what they told me was:
Bank 1 are sensors are toward the firewall - there are two
1) Sensor 1 = Top of engine
2) Sensor 2 = Bottom of engine
I would call these guys http://www.importrp.com/index.php.
They are awesome and you can buy OEM for a fraction of the cost. If you see it cheaper elsewhere, they will also do their best to match the price.
