Interior Lights Electrical Problem?

Hey guys. Got my 05 SSM about two months ago and its been a great ride. I've got a problem with some of the interior lights. The side heated seat buttons and the steering wheel controls only light up half the time. It'll go a few days with the steering wheel lights on, and the a few days with the heated seat button on. WTF? Seems like a wiring issue. The light in my center console only works sometimes too.

My car is out of the warranty period...so how much would something like this cost to get fixed at the dealer? It seems fairly involved. (taking apart center console, steering wheel, etc.). Or...should I just deal with it...

i think this is a common issue. my advice is try to get it out of your head because it does seem like there's quite some labour involved. unless of course there's a DIY here somewhere

Geez. It's driving me insane. Last night I kept hitting the Volume Up/Down instead of the Channel button. Ugh!

Personally, I get concerned when an electrical device that was working stops working, and I get really concerned if it then starts again. 12 volts in the wrong place is more than enough to start a fire. I'd either take the trouble to run it down or spend the money to have a dealership tech do it.

Bulbs only burn out once. If they light back up they weren't burned out.

Wow I was a little girl when I first got my car. For the record, I took it all apart last summer to replace the bulbs.

the right side is out all the time tho. always makes me wonder if the bulbs are not the real issue.

I went to the Acura Dealership in Toronto for the similar interior and reverse light problems. They told me it may involve with wire harness~

Cost like $367 canadian + tax...

By the way...can anyone could tell me how to replace interior light bulbs? I really don't want to go to dealership to fix them...
