help! nav is asking for a code?
I'm not sure if maybe the owner i purchased this car from should know it or if theres a standard code? but my battery died anyhow so i waited 5 mins to restart my car and when i did the nav wont let me in to anything and it is asking for a 4 digit code. anyone know??? thanks
each vehicle has it's own navigation and radio codes.
i would contact the previous owner, or contact the dealership that the vehicle has been serviced at in the past.
afterwards, go to www.myacura.com and register your codes there for safe keeping.
i was in the same boat as you, i went to myacura.com and saw that the vehicle was previously serviced at xxx dealerhip, so i called that dealership and they gave me the code.
your radio code will be printed on the inside of the glovebox.

Check for a business-card sized plastic card in the paperwork that came with the car, particularly in the owner's manual binder.
Otherwise, the codes (Navi and radio) may be on a sticker in the glove compartment area or on top of the under-hood fuse box.
Some dealers may put the code card in the spare tire compartment under the trunk floor, along with the cargo nets.
