I would like to replace this cable since mine has the broken round green plastic piece.
I have searched and tried multiple times to purchase a new one but it appears to be unavailable.
Has anyone come up with an alternative cable that may work. I have seen many Honda Accord cables that look similar but not sure if they would work.
My only option may be to try and super glue the plastic back together.

What exact OEM part numbers are you using when you search online?

 

Yes that is the part that broke.

Acura 72171-SEP-A01 Left Front Inside Handle Cable

Several parts vendors show this but when I order, the next day I am told the part is not available anymore.

Tried at least 4 different vendors

 

Why don't you try one for an Accord? For $15 or so, you could solve your issue.

 

I have ordered one for an Accord the cable is about 3/4 inch longer than the Acura so we will see. I will report back to you guys
