Ignition coil Boot replacement.

I got 156k on my 08 TL-S and was going to replace the plugs and saw there is an option to replace the ignition coil boots, springs, and seals. Has anyone done this before? Is it worth the effort? I was going to go with the NGK from Rock Auto.

I’ve done it. Easy. Worth it. I would advise against trying to replace the little spring inside the coil that sits on the plug because it’s a PITA. I cracked one of my coils trying to do it which led to a misfire and had to be replaced, but replacing the two little rubber things is straightforward and a good idea since you’re already in there.

Yeah, the spring popped out and wouldn't go back in, so 85 bucks later i got one new coil... now to not mess with the spring on the rest of them!
