What's Up Guys
I was trying to do the Alabama / Sopranos Theme in my title there, hopefully some of you got it hahah
ok so, I woke up this mor-ninggg, I turned my car onnn, and my instrumentation cluster is on the fritz!! Drove 20 minutes to my office (starbucks is my home office haha) and by the time I parked, it was still on the fritz. I've called the dealer but any ideas???
The "Brake" light is on indicating my ebrake is up, but it isn't, the VSA indicator and VSA light BOTH are on and when you hit the VSA button, nothing turns on/off or flickers....WTF?!?!?!?
The weird thing is, the last 2 days or so, anytime I make some hard right turns on on/off ramps etc, the brake light turns itself on?
Maybe I should've bought a WDP or NBP? LOL!
yeah right, RBP 4 everrrrrr

Hey . . ...mine shows the brake light as well, even after I take the E brake off, but it seems to do so only when the car is freezin cold. . When it warms up and I turn the car off and back on, the brake light turns off. .

You guys might want to check the fluid level in the brake fluid reserve. I don't know if that would trigger a VSA light but it would defintly explain the brake light during cold temps. IF it is low you need to have your pads checked out to make sure they are not getting low.

yea bro maybe its the fact that we've been having single digits in the east coast
the last time we had single digits mine wouldn't even turn on (battery )
hope it isn't a short in the cluster and just the frigid temps got it going nutts

It might also be a wheel speed sensor not working right. The ABS and VSA both need that to work. They shut off and throw warnings if they're not getting the signal they expect. A bunch of auto supply places will read the code for you for free and that should give you a good idea of what's wrong.

yeah it was really cold this morning but this is so silly? a "not even 2 year old car" that I paid $40,000 for is having these issues? wtf?
the brake light is for the ebrake no? would LOW pads or brake fluid cause the "BRAKE" light to go on?

so to give everyone an update, I brought it to the dealer today and it turns out my RIGHT FRONT Brake Caliper was LEAKING BRAKE FLUID....WTF!?!?!? how the hell does this happen on a car that's not even 2 years old yet?
This is also causing my VSA lights (both of them) to go on, and thus my VSA hasn't been working. It's all being covered under warranty, new pads and calipers!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine stalled at a stop sign. I started the car back up (It had to be coaxed back to life ) all the warning lights in the instrument panel came on. After driving home very slowly (1 mi away), i turned the car off and started it again and it was all okay, there were no lights on.
It was around this time that my car battery had to be replaced.I have no idea how this strange thing happened.
