I know its not TL but you guys can probably help

I know its not the MDX forum, but i know you guys are the smartest bunch around so i would really appreciate some guidance.

Been trying to troubleshoot no start issue with my 09 MDX. One day just wouldn't start and made clicking noises as if they battery was dead. Tried to jump start it but same clicking noises under the dash. replaced battery and the car started and worked fine for one day and then started doing the clicking sound again and no crank.
Battery was new tested ok but still got it replaced but same result with a brand new battery. Thought the starter must have gone bad so I just changed the starter today but i am getting the same clicking noises from under the dash and no crank.
I finally found the 2 starter relays and removed them. I have ordered the relays and hopefully it starts but wanted to ask if this has happened to anyone and what the issue was. I have checked the battery cables and terminals and they are good. If the relays don't fix this i really don't know what to look at next. Any hep would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!

There's not much here. Best to check with test light when it refuses to start. If those relays don't help, battery is good, and starter is good, then take a closer look at ignition switch.

That might be the part number for your car: 35130SJAA01

My MDX had issues with the charging system and starting just like yours. Replaced the positive and negative terminals and issue resolved!

Thank you guys. I will try the new relays tomorrow and report back. Hopefully it's good news. As for the battery terminals. The positive side is new and I have checked the negative cable and connector. I even jumped the negative battery cable to the ground with jumper cable and got the same result.

Don't forget to check the + battery cable itself as well. At this age, it may be corroded internally where you can't see and not able to carry enough juice
.

Not the terminal, but the entire cable that runs to the fuse box!

@csmeance @DMZ @peter6 you guys are the reason I posted it here because I knew you guys will be willing to help as I have seen you so many times before on this forum do exactly that. I used to have a TL and I am pretty sure I went through all the posts on here. I haven't had that car in a while and missed all of your knowledge and DMZ's funny responses. Yesterday I was feeling defeated by this car but you guys gave me the courage to keep going. I was able to get the car started today. It turned out to be 2 starter relays buried deep inside the dash where normal hands cant reach. Anyways after removing a bunch of panels and wrestling with the relay socket, I was able to get them bad boys in. I also removed the connectors from the cable, inspected the cables as you guys suggested. Cleaned them for good measure put everything back together and the car started right up. Once again I am very thankful to you all for helping me with my MDX in this TL forum. Thank you!!!!
