Hi everyone,

I'm looking to change the brake fluid in my 2007 TL-S with the Honda Heavy Duty Brake Fluid DOT3. The bottles are 12 oz. How many bottles would I need for a brake fluid change?

<2 bottles. You'll have some left over of the 2nd bottle.

Thanks for the replies. So if I understand correctly, I will need approx. 6 bottles of the Honda Heavy Duty Brake Fluid DOT3 since each bottle is 12 oz?? 1 qt = 32 oz.

 

Don't limit yourself to Honda DOT3. Any name brand DOT 3-4 will do just as well. In fact you should use the thinner 5.1 as it will give better ABS action and shorten stopping distances.

No need to buy a bunch of "Honda" relabeled small bottles and pay twice as much.

 

If you buy the small 12 oz bottles then buy 5. I would buy a better BF. I'm running Castrol GT LMA. It still looks new after a year and I've always had firm pressure with it.
