How do you get the plate lights back in on 04 tl

How do you get the plate lights back in on 04 tl

I changed the bulbs on my license plate but i cant get them back in what am i doing wrong please help quick

They just pop back in, almost at a 45 degree angle. There are also 2 clips, 1 on each side of the assembly. It's easy

i pulled them out from the outside and could not get them back in so i saved myself time and took apart the inside.. A LOT easier then sitting there trying to shove them back in

You're supposed to pull back the truck lid liner, and replace them that way. Not pull the clear plastic off of the outside to replace It took me forever to pop the assembly back in the first time I did it though

I got it from the outside it takes patience and the right angle once you get the first one the second one goes right in wish i got the amber leds for the interior the bright white looks like shit anyone wanna trade i got 6 5x white leds for 6 amber leds let me know

Amber LED's for the INTERIOR? I've never heard of that I'd like to see it a NBP though
