Horn not working!
Horn not working!
So the horn in my 06 tl is not working by pressing the streeing wheel neither when pressing panic button. I dont know about the fuses or neither I have fhe manual. I would really appreciate the help.
Our cars have two tones, a high and a low. If they both went out at the same time, I would suspect the horn switch first, then the horns themselves. Plus it's much easier to test the switch than pulling off your bumper.
1) Perform a horn switch test. There's a thread somewhere on here with links to the PDF of the service manual that explains how to do this test. Unfortunately, I have no idea where.
You basically pull off one of the connectors near the steering wheel and measure continuity.
2) If the horn switch works, remove the bumper and test the actual horns on your 12V battery. You just ground the plate and hook up the one pin to 12V.
My low tone went out so my car sounds like a sissy.

Call acura and ask them what the part number for the horn is. I know on my CL all I have to do is take off the grille insert and the horn is easy to get to. that 1 wire provides power as the chassis is ground so you do not need a return wire...

Use that link I gave you for the service manual so you know what to do.
