Hissing noise near timing belt area..Possibly timing belt?

I recently turned on my TL and heard a small hissing noise coming from the timing belt area. My brother says it is the timing belt but I wanna be sure. I replaced the timing belt and water pump at 90,000miles btw. Any idea or familiar experience as to what the problem could be?

Mine has had a hissing sound from that area since it was brand new. I don't know if its the timing belt or some other accessory but its normal.

I'd bet it's bearings on idler or tensioner pulley..did you reuse those for accessory belt?

Just take the serpentine belt off and start the car and see if you hear the sound, that would tell you if it is serp belt or timing belt issue. don't run the engine long without the sert belt.....

I have the same sound, i think mine is coming from the power steering area. It has been making the noise since i got it from the dealer and only has 55,000 miles. some advice would be appreciated.
