Happened to my driver side window. When I tried to roll up the window, i would hear the window trying to catch on to the motor but it wasn't coming up. Ended up replacing the power window regulator.

Usually when a reg fails it drops all the way. I believe there's a simple continuity check you can do to verify it is the regulator. If it ends up being the issue, it's only $103 @ delray.

Doesn't look like anything is missing but it was weird I have no idea what happened.

It was only half the window that rolled down and it hasn't happened again after a week.

Would suck to have that part go bad in a down pour. I'd probably have a heart attack. I'm kind of anal about my leather.

exactly same issue happened to me last week. Try not press "door lock" too long when lock up your car.

not if that side of the window is damaged and comes down faster or a faster response than the rest of them.

I tried this on my car and I can't get the windows to go down using the unlock button.. is that an option that you have to set up on the menu in the car?

Well to get it to work you would need to press unlock button twice then hold until all windows and sun roof opens. Even my 05 Honda Accord used to do that
