HELP! Slight vibration from steering wheel

My fiance borrowed my 06 TL Navi to pick up her cousin. When she came back she told me that she hit a BIG pothole. As I left the house I started to notice that my steering wheel didnt feel the same and I feel a tiny bit of vibration in my seat. My car never felt like this before, what can I do to make sure that everything is ok?

(Please don't bash my fiance she's not a shitty driver. Its just too bad the place she went to had a pot hole the size of the Grand Canyon.)

do you really think the alignment would cause vibrations?

A rim (or rims) could be out of round or a tire(s) damaged.
Have a reputable tire dealer inspect the tires/rims for 'ovality' and if ok have your wheels road-force balanced.

Sounds like a bent rim.

I've been through this. I agree with the others. First thing is to get your tires and rims checked for roundness and get them road-force balanced. Even if these items check out, which I doubt they will hitting a pothole, then get your car aligned.
I hit a small pothole at about 40-45mph and it cost me a wheel, tire and alignment. If you have a low deductible on your auto insurance, I recommend taking that route. A new wheel will run about $375, a new tire $325 (for the michelin summers) and alignment about $80. The claim is low enough that it should not affect any future premiums.

Allignment or Bent ass rim(s). Get the rims checked first unless you have some kind of alignment package (acura charges a fee everytime even if the alignment is fine).
