Just for a little back ground I have been without a/c for about 2 months, I just got the kit and replaced the clutch/pulley on the compressor, overnight I rented a vacuum pump and some guages and vacuumed it down, held the vacuum perfectly, although it didn't work right away after that, I ended up having to take the clutch plate off and add another thin shim to get everything to work right clearance wise, (at one point it was trying to engage the clutch/compressor all the time when the pulley was spinning) after I added the shim I had to jumper it at the fuse box relay, to add some freon because it had nothing but about 5 oz. pag 46 oil in it.. but after that it worked fine all morning untill just now, any thoughts? If apprichiate any input thanks in advance

 

did you add the full amount in oz listed on the label or just guess based on those cheap fill hose gauges? my guess is probably a leak somewhere. inject some uv dye and get black light and those special yellow glasses. check the valve cores for tightness too, but be careful not to press down. it'll spray and freeze your hand or face. lol
