I am in the most vital decision for my TL 05 auto w/nav (broken dvd-drive, handsfreelink, and broken 6-disc cd). Also, in need of new rear sway bar (old one cracked but I have been riding on it 20,000+ miles since knowing about it), brake job.
Acura says I need a new motor for $4800.
I've put 95,000 hard miles on the car (6 year ownership), repaired it, maintained it... Is it worthy of me to pay Acura to fix me up? Or find someone to take it to. Get a 3.5 liter engine to replace?? Go to a performance shop and try to get rear twin turbos? AM I OVER MY HEAD or WHAT?!?!
SN: I am leaving my job now, to a new one with more money, but also more bills. I can afford to do most all options, but I'd rather not have a car payment, but if it's the better route, then yes.

This motor has 188+ miles on it. I really push this car when i drive, and the Spark Plug Ignition Coil broke off and bursted out of the block. My car went in to limp mode and i was able to make it to a parking space. I had it towed to Acura, where they said, after a diagnosis, the threading was gone from my block for a replacement, so i need a whole new engine (theirs will be a 95+ motor, i'm assuming I will have a warranty by them).
