Help with "MAX BRIGHTNESS" button on my 08 TL...

So, I had it set how I wanted it, but for the life of me now I can't figure out how to get it back to how I want it...

I drive with my Xenon's (HID's) on 24/7 daytime/nighttime, so its permanently set to ON.

I want to be able to press MAX Brightness and keep the interior lights on MAX both day and night always, never dim... ( I don't have navigation )

But I noticed I press MAX now, and it brightens up, and I can turn my lights on/off and it will stay max, however, when I turn the car off it seems to "reset" back down, and I basically have to press MAX each time I enter the car... Before it would stay at MAX, what am I missing???

Try using the "UP" arrow to turn the light to the max setting, instead of just pressing the max button. I'm assuming that once you turn the car off it resets the brightness to the setting that it's set on.

The only issue is the UP arrow pressed 1,000 times is still not as bright as the MAX button, and I am positive for the last 2 years I have had it at MAX and it has stuck, even when the car turns off, now it doesn't stick....

Tape down the Max button?

j/p, good luck. I hope someone has an answer for you. You're right in saying that turning the brightness up with the arrow never gets it as bright as pressing the "Max" button, when the headlights are on. Max is way to bright to use at night, but if you keep your headlights on during the day I see where you're coming from.

Touche. I didn't remember that. Sorry, OP... hopefully someone knows of a solution for you.

Just IMO, the bright is too much for me at any point in time.

Yea the MAX brightness is perfect for me both daytime and night-time since I run my headlights at all times...

I can't figure this out, I am more than positive before I figured out how to make the MAX stick, wtf! lol
