Hi guys,

Nice day today to do a transmission fluid change so i decided to stop being lazy and do it already.

The car is an 08 TL-S.

When i took the cover that hides the transmission underneath the car i noticed what it looked like oil to me. The cover was stained and part of the sub-frame had some fluid on it. I looked up and noticed that a hose had some fresh fluid right at the clamp shown in the picture. Since i have a cold, i couldn't really smell to try and find out what it was.

Seems like a coolant hose? Checked all my fluids and they're good. Any help is appreciated.

This hose is kinda left to the transmission, right above the subframe. Sorry if it's too much of a close-up but tried to take a close one of the clamp.

 

Look higher up. Where the axle meets the transmission. Is there oil there?

 

Car is off the jacks now but it didn't seem to be coming from higher up, it wasn't even a big leak, just concentrated on that spot to the left of the transmission. I might be wrong though as it was getting darker so i rushed to finish the trans fluid change.

Car is still under warranty so i can take it to a dealer but wondering what the problem might be.
