Help!
Hi, I have a 2006 Acura TL, and recently I've been feeling my car weird when I'm driving it. When I press the gas to go faster it doesn't want to go faster, I mean I hear that it's accelerating but it's not wanting to go faster. Also today I noticed that the 'D' sign is blinking!! Idk what it could be or what to do. Please if someone knows something let me know..
Lots of threads in here regarding a blinking/flashing "D". If the engine is revving up, but the car doesn't accelerate, it generally points to transmission issues. Check your fluids, possibly drain and replace, but if you are already at this point....good chance it will need to be rebuilt/replaced.
Try checking to see if it may be the app sensor, hopefully that is it

Could be many things.
Could be the APP sensor causing the car to go into limp mode. Easy repair, part is ~$145. Is the car not getting up past 40 or is it not shifting/slipping?
It may be the transmission, but seriously, READ THIS: https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...switch-892223/
It could be your gear position sensor. It is an easy enough fix and may save you having to put a transmission in. Part is around $60 and could save you thousands. The thread I linked doesn't seem to have got a lot of traction, but I am honestly wondering if that part could have saved many people replacing the entire transmission. Note, I have not replaced it myself, but if I ever have issues, I will look at doing it first.
Could be the pressure switches. I'd do both the switches and the gear position sensor before anything else. I'd also do a tranny 3x3 drain and refill.
If the issue still exists after doing the 3 items I just mentioned, then I am not sure what could be wrong. However, for about $200, you may save yourself a TON of money.
