Angry HELP ! 2005 TL car vibrates and pulls followed by vsa light and caution triangle

So this issue just started out of the blue. I noticed a couple weeks ago a loud clunk when pulling out of my parking spot. The only tone you hear this is when parking and turning the wheel not driving.

So yesterday I'm coming down I-95, and all of a sudden the car bogs slightly, vibrates and makes a noise as if I was driving on the sleep strip, pulls a little then goes right back to normal , but with the vsa and triangle indicator light on . The car continued to drive fine yesterday and today.

I shut the car off, and the lights are gone. Clunk is still there when parking. I jacked the car in the air to look for the clunk and cant reproduce it with thewheels off the ground. The front end is tight (balljoints, tie rods etc) cv axles are pretty new. The only thing I can think of is maybe a bad steering column along with some bad sensors on that column ? Any help is appreciated, this is the first time this car has actually stumped me, and an inopportune time at that.

Sounds like the ABS is kicking in randomly. Did you check the speed sensors?....

Might also be a bad VSA module.

This just happened to me today also. 2005 TL

The car stuttered slightly and VSA/ Triangle indicator/ check engine light came on while on the highway. I exited and pulled up to a stoplight. While accelerating from a stop, 1st gear would not go more than 2mph even while flooring it. Once it picked up enough speed to get into 2nd gear it I was able to accelerate as normal.

I shut the car off and restarted it, and so far it has been normal.

Could the transmission be going bad?
or O2 sensor?

Happened to me a week ago as well. All lights came on and couldn't get past 2000~~ rpm. I have 155000km on the car and have not changed the tranny fluid as far as I know since. So I changed it, it was pitch black and dirty. Put new atf in (red, clearish, beautiful) problem has not come back since then and also better gas mileage! Symptoms..... Would include what you described couldn't get past 1st and 2nd gear. Restart car a few times until tranny registered gear change. Could only get out of 2nd gear to third gear only when I drove with the triptronic and start in second and rev it up and stick it in third gear. Car stood still in 1&2 gear even when gas is applied. Still cannot get past 2000rpm. Hope this helps! Edit: spelling and grammar. I'm texting this from my phone and its 8 in the morning....

Does anyone else have some more information on this?

My car is having the EXACT same problems that rollaaa and twenty5 described.

This happened when I changed out the inside fuse box though.

Before I took my car in to the auto electric shop to get it hanged out it was running perfectly. I had the inside fuse box replaced because the battery was discharging. The discharging problem was fixed, but these new problems appeared.
