my headlight is stuck on high beam the other headlight works fine with lows and highs.. also my fog lights on my 2005 TL do not work, tried changing the bulbs, and checking the fuse still not working.. any ideas?

I'm in Houston as well.

fog lights will only come on with head lights on.

high and low beams are the same bulb.
a solenoid switches or moves to let more light out; thus activating the highs.

yeah i figured it was the same bulb, i tried the fog lights with the headlights on and they dont work, maybe because one headlight is stuck on high.. nice to meet you brotha.. the car is actually my wife car, so i have to fix it.. lol any idea where i can get a tl headlight for this car? locally.. passenger side.. thanks for the info as well...

i can still activate fogs with high beams on.

there's no easy source for headlights.

i would try ebay or a dealer for headlights

Unless its modded, the fogs should not light up when the high beams are switched on.

This. Your fogs may not be coming on because they think your high beams are on.

roof2006 that is what i was thinking..

I've never worked on them myself, but have seen on here that our low and high beams are the same light - there's just something that moves in front of the bulb. My guess is that something with that part in your "stuck" light is haywire. Just to send you in the right direction - good luck.
