Headlight Not Working Question
Headlight Not Working Question
Leaving work tonight I noticed that my driver side HID Low beam and High beam had stopped working! In addition, my driver side DRL is burnt out too.. The driver side turn signals work fine though (I have switchbacks if that accounts for anything). To add.. my driver side headlight does have a leak.. so there is a little bit of condensation inside the headlight since I had cracked them open to paint the housing, but I haven't had time to reseal them yet. Unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with anything electrical related.. so your help would be greatly appreciated!
Does anyone know what could be the issue? Please and thanks !

You probably burnt out your ballast since it sits at the bottom of the headlight. Thats why its very wise to seal up the headlight tight as possible. Fogging can come and go from temp change/etc…but leaks are very bad. I bet the fuse is blown as well…do not replace the fuse till you fix the issue or it will just keep blowing.
Also, make sure you get that fixed ASAP, because you maybe able to save the ballast.

Also, I'm not sure if i used the term leaking correctly... But I noticed whenever I wash my car it starts to fog up a little bit after I leave the car wash.. Presumably because the water is so hot with the pressure washer so it fogs up when it cools down (ie temperature change)
