Front end clunk

I've had a clunk since Acura replaced my transmission. It's gotten worse and no one has figured it out. Recently, my mechanic told me that the clunk may be the subframe bushing near the power steering reservoir. It has leaked fluid on it for some time now. I feel a clunk in the steering wheel and it comes and goes when I step on the gas and let off. Speed bumps cause this as well.

Anyone deal with this clunk that is felt I through the steering? I have new upper arms and everything else is factory. Car is at 140,000.

^^^ the clicking when you turn is probably a bad axle.

the "clunk" sounds like sypmtoms of a bad torque mount. if it happens when you step on/off the gas and put it into gear that would be my guess, but it shouldnt have anything to do with the steering.

Does the noise sound almost a bit like popcorn popping when you're turning the wheel? If so, it may be a bad CV joint. I had that problem on my 1986 Legend where when I turned the wheel I heard a clicking noise and felt a vibration. It was not a cheap repair.....

I think there is a TSB out for your problem.. I wish I had my login still for the techinfo.honda website so I can site it but if you want you can check out this page https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/3g-tl-technical-service-bulletins-tsbs-3g-garage-j-016-a-613659/ and see what TSBs apply if you get the log in. It's 10 bucks to view for 3 days.
