Flutter sound from engine bay???
Ok... I've had this problem for about a year now on my 2005 TL (6MT). After a minute or two after starting the engine and letting it idle, there is noise on the passenger side of the engine bay. It sounds like a pigeon or something. I know it has to be related to the belt or pulleys, but neither my dealer nor Acura Canada can fix it... they say it's "normal"...
WTF? My car sounds like junk when it's idling... Any ideas? Follow the link to have a listen...

I had the same problem on my 04 6-spd accord v6, could be the water pump? Try taking a long screw driver or an automotive stethoscope and put it up to random parts on that side of the motor and see if you can pinpoint it.

Was it the belt, or the belt tensioner that was replaced?

To reply to your question. it was the belt tensioner. At first, i brought it in and they had to replace the motor mounts and the sound was still there. so the second time i brought it in, the belt tensioner was replaced and the sound was gone. hope this helps..
