Anyone know what this error code represents?

 

There are two "networks" in the TL, one fast controller area network (F-CAN) and one body controller area network (B-CAN), each with connected ECU's

The F-CAN is connected to the gauge control module, the ECM/PCM, the navigation unit and VSA.

I don't have a list of the specific codes, but your trouble is in one of the above. Any other indications of malfunctions?

Regardless, it's trip to the dealer time. At least you know the areas to look at.

Car was dropped off at the dealer yesterday. They said something about the brakes, hopefully they'll finish up working on it today.

 

Modulator Assembly needed to be replaced.

Covered under warranty, otherwise a $709 part.

 

My 07 TL-S has the same code .. dealer said it wasn't an issue

 

Does anyone have any further information on this, like if it is or isn't an issue? My '07 has this exact same code/error showing (I can post an identical picture if needed) and it's been there for quite a while. The only problem I've ever had with the car was the Nav freezing and "rebooting" once shortly after I got the car. Since then, never an issue.
