EVAP Purge Valve

Based on your collective experience, what brand of purge valve and where would you recommend to buy it. I did replace mine, but it was a Dorman brand, which I now see is not recommended. The CEL code is P0496. Thanks in advance for the info. Also, how much is too much to spend for this part?

OEM and Dorman units are literally the same exact price; $137.

You've clearly already experienced the sub-par quality of aftermarket pieces, so now you're paying twice as much. This isn't the time to be nickel-and-diming to save $5.

You’re looking for “Denso” for the part. Can find on Amazon for 65$ and work perfectly fine. Not OEM but…it’s OEM. Same company that makes OEM.

RockAuto sells WVE 2M1190, which is a re-boxed Denso. You can also buy the Honda purge valve for half the price, which is the same as the Acura, but different part numbers.
