To the TL Community. A couple of monts ago I was driving in Northern VA popular streets when suddenly the engine on my 2006 TL Shut off for no reason. Has anybody experienced some like that before? I replaced Battery overseas and did regular maintenance on it but dealership stated I should replace it again which I did. Now the vehicle is parked in VA residence and I don't know what to do upon return from the East. Any suggestions?

 

If still under warranty have TLC tow it to the near Acura dealership to have it checked out.

 

It happend to me before, it turned out the positive on the battery came sliding right off due to a bad terminal. I don't think the engine itself turned off, but all the electronics in the car started to fail. I pulled over and did a temp fix which got me home. I purchased a new terminal for 3 bux and replaced it, all is good.
