What gives....started it up today like everyday and pop...did not start...hit it again it's ok....almost seems like a small explosion under the hood??? is this normal??...the car runs good no problems at all....this has happened 3-4 times...got about 2700 miles 06...any thoughts?

 

I would take that back to the dealer and hopefully recreate it , that can't be good.

 

i get a little pop under the hood every once in a while after the car sits for a day or two without driving it. it starts every time though without a problem. it sounds like you might have a different problem though if you car stalls out becuase of it or just wont start at all.

 

Yea i get that too. Its like a jolt and you can also hear almost like a gurgling sound. I have an 06, 2,300 miles
