Emmission Control On - could it be the fuel lid?
Emmission Control On - could it be the fuel lid?
Its the orange light right between the lights indicator and the hand brake indicator. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thin there is a little metal flap on the fuel port that is supposed to close by itself when you are fueling, in the actual fuel channel. Mine does not seem to be there anymore, or it is stuck open, could this be causing the emmission control to turn on? Thanks!

If you are still wondering about the metal flap, there is one, or there is supposed to be one. I filled up yesterday, went for a drive, and on my way back, my engine light came on. I didn't think to look for the metal flap, until reading your post. I thought that it came on due to cleaning my K&N filter, but the TLs are some sensor oriented, it could be the flap. However, after opening and closing the gas cap this morning, my light went off. I am looking into replacing the port or flap. My worry now that the flap is in my fuel cell.
Good luck.
Good luck.
