Driving on the hwy at 75 and then the VSA/ Check Engine light...

I was about 154 miles into my trip to Charleston, SC with the cruise set to 75. Without warning the car started to hesitate and buck and I noticed the check engine light, VSA light and VSA symbol came on. I pulled over and checked the rpms....Didn't want to really go past 2500. I decided to shut it down and reset the ECU. I started the car up and it ran like a top and never had the problem again after another 100 miles of driving.

Do you think the computer could have just gotten a bad code for a second and tripped the computer to spill a code?

The car runs like a top as it always does.....I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this and if so, do you know what the cause would be?

Thanks guys! BTW, the car is going to hit 190,000 miles tomorrow.....She gets around

Could be. Go have the stored codes read and you'll know for sure.
