Driver's Windows Flips a Coin. Tails it fails

So my driver's window is failing intermittently. Sometimes I start the car, and it works flawlessly the whole time. Other times, I start the car and the driver's window won't do shit. Not up, not down. Holding the unlock button to lower all 4 windows doesn't give me a clear answer because again, sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. Doesn't matter if the weather is hot or cold.

There was one time when it failed mid-drive and I banged on the door a bit and it started to work again. I always hear the motor click when I press on the switch so I'm assuming it's the regular+motor assembly. Anyone more experienced please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd be replacing the motor.

Could be wiring that's cracked from age. Check the door wiring harness.

Update: I bought the new regulator+motor assembly but I haven't replaced it yet (I'm lazy). However, the window has been working fine for like 2 months. Not a single problem. I even thought maybe it went away. However it started up recently. Here's the thing, it seems to be affected by humidity. On rainy days, the window doesn't go down. Ground problem? Wiring problem exacerbated by humidity? Any ideas?

Update: Finally replace regulator+motor assembly for the driver's door window. Easier than I thought. Turns out the window glass was off track on the front rail. Not sure when that happened. Might've been the cause of this issue. Issue seems to be fixed.
