When the window is open, anywhere but all the way up, and you close the door it makes a load noise sounds like the window or frame is banging some where hard. Anyone had to fix this and was it easy. Always willing to try and fix it myself.

I have the same problem. Only drivers door aswell. I saw somewhere on here that its actually a problem with the lock mechanism coming loose in the door panel but I don't remember where I came across it. When you close the door, the rod that holds the lock pin rattles against the window when its lowered.

You'll definitly have to remove the door panel and then open and close the door, you should be able to narrow down what exactly is hitting when closing door. I have never wanted to take the panel off myself so I have just delt with the noise for awhile now.

Its nothing serious, I guess Acura had some tight tolerances and over time things start to shift. Thats probably why it seems to always be the drivers door. It gets the most use.

 

Mine does something similarly, it hasn't hurt anything yet so I wouldn't worry about it.
