If your car is still in warranty, have the dealership look at it.

no not the driver's seat. its the drivers door panel. its the big leather piece with all the pin holes.

it is directly above the speaker at 10:30. that leather piece is coming off where it curves

I know where its located I was hoping to see a picture of how it is failing. typically those pieces I believe are wrapped and glued if I am not mistaken

Actually that's pleather (plastic leather, aka vinyl), not leather. The only leather, to my knowledge, is on the actual seat surfaces that you sit on and where your back hits. I've even heard the steering wheel only has leather on the left/right segments. The top/bottom have been said to be pleather.

I'd just swing by an auto upholstery place and have them take a look. It's not separate part you can get from Acura. You'd need the whole panel...and you don't want to know $$. You probably could just glue it but if you aren't experienced or comfortable with it then let someone that is do it.

that was my concern, i'm sure i can do it myself but didn't want to ruin it with some type of glue such as krazyglue. if its only pleather then i will probably glue it back together. I actually thought it was real leather
