So I took a trip with the Girlfriend over the weekend and my passenger front door open switch/sensor/module is beginning to fail.

It seems to be wearing out. Whenever I put pressure on the door or take a left turn, even at 5mph in my cul-de-sac, the lights come on and the display says door open.

I've fixed it by putting a little stopper over the spot on the door where it touches to extend the contact and its working.

However, thats not the right fix.

Does anyone have a part number or any information about this. I didn't see a thread on it. I'd like to fix it the correct way vs a half-assed way.

remove the rubber boot from around the door switch in the door jam and loosen or remove the screw that holds it in place, clean the area around where the swich contacts the metal on the door jam and then reinstall it. if that doesnt work then replace it. they are only like 20 bucks from the dealer
