Does your TL vibrate like this?

Im kind of paranoid right now because it seems lately I can feel vibrations through the seats while the car is in the Park position. I do have a cracked side motor mount. Would that be the cause? or is it more to that?

Here's a video:

Not sure if that's suppose to be normal. Any help would be appreciated!

does it get worse or stay the same? i would think its a motor mount issue if you are getting bad vibrations at idle (or your engine is all goofed with the valves and timing). isn't there some method to determine which mount it is? soemthing about watching the engine and putting the car in drive or reverse (of course with the front of the car raised). i remember reading something about that on here.

???

I didnt try revving but ill try tomorrow and keep you posted. I know for a fact the side motor mount is cracked because you can see it. Not sure about the front and rear mounts. My car does make a pretty loud clunk with throwing into reverse but it seems its off and on, some days it does it, some days it doesnt..

get your mounts replaced...excessive vibrations would drive me nuts. of course right now my TL is queened and only driven once a week (i mean really, does the county and VDOT have to cake the road in road salt and brine spray for the total lack of snow we got-which was NONE!).

That motor mount is probably your problem.

yeah, i figured it might be the mounts. You can only feel it when the car is in Park and idling. During normal operation, its fine.

this is how i would go about diagnosing your problem:

1> Vibrations when braking at high speeds: Warped rotors
2> Vibrations when driving between certain speeds: Balance issues, Bent rim, bubble in tire, axle, hub-centric rings
3> Vibrations when at a stop: Vac line, mounts
