Does this look like a bad clutch?

Lately I am having this problem with my 2005 TL where if I punch it, the tachometer stalls then jump. This only happens in WOT. I have a video of it that sort of shows what I am talking about. I am thinking it might be the clutch giving signs that it is on its way out but I am not sure since the car only has 100k on it. I have been driving standard my whole life and never went through a clutch this soon.

Hard to tell from the video. It could be something completely unrelated to the clutch.

instead of a video, give a more detailed description.

I guess it is difficult to see it in the video if you dont know what you are looking for so let me try to be more specific.

Around the 10 second mark, I floor it. If you notice the rpm jumps to 4k then stalls there for a second then jumps to 5k.

Around the 32 second mark, i downshift and floor it again. The rpm jumps to 5k as if the clutch is slipping (but I dont think it is since the car is accelerating as normal), then stays at around 5 before i shift up.

It almost seems there is something wrong with the connection. I dont know if any of you have driven a car with a bad connection the speedo where the needle would jump all over but this is exactly how it feels.

Hopefully it is a little more clear what I am talking about.

ignoring the needle....do u notice or hear the engine reving faster than it normally would along with increased speed?...u should listen to the motor instead of looking at the needle. that will tell you if its your clutch.

Your clutch is toast. It looks like my GN with a 4,000 stall convertor which is a very bad thing if you're driving a manual.

it looks like it's slipping. The TL has a self adjusting clutch with a check-valve so you really won't feel the clutch going at all, one day it'll just start slipping like is happening with your car. The check valve induces a little bit more wear than a regular manual transmission would but not to the point where a clutch can be toast in 100K. All in all, it comes down to how you drive it with double clutching, not skipping gears and the like.

i was afraid you guys would say it was the clutch. With the 105K service and a bad clutch it might be time to trade it in...

There's a dealership in New Jersey that's doing the 105K service including parts for 600 dollars, and I'm sure they'd help you out on the clutch as well! Just remember, after you do these services, the car is going to be rock solid for at least another 60K miles!
