So me a two of my buddies (which are both mechanics) will be installing my clutch next month and i was thinking about doing a DIY if i have time. I tried serching and it looks like no one else has made one. Has one even tried installing one or does everyone take it to a shop?

If you are installing the stock SAC, then you should use the tool as specified in the manual to apply even pressure when installing the PP.

Others will say that they didn't and it was fine but you have to wonder if not using this tool will adversely affect the self adjusting properties.

If you are using an aftermarket kit, flywheel and all then it's a moot point (not needed).
