my tl is white and i just washed it the other night and today it rained and i got out of the car to notice dirty water marks all on the side of the car and on the back bumper lip and i wanna know is unusual i feel like water shouldnt spray onto the car like that or onto the back bumper am i nuts or stupid or not hahaha

 

Whenever I raised the trunk, I noticed on the lip where the water from the back window catches, it was extremely dirty and greasy... After a few wipes with a paper towel.

There could just be residual dirt/grease there. Not too sure about the marks on the side of the car, maybe dirty weatherstripping?

 

Back bumper lip is the FIRST thing to get dirty after you wash your car. Don't know exactly how, but it's a dirt/grime collection magnet.

 

Theres turbulence back there. Anything flowing under the car mixes and tumbles with air flowing over the car and the rear gets dirty very quickly. If you've ever had an oil leak under the car, the tail lights, bumper, and even trunk lid will end up oily.
