Did the dealer really do the timing belt change?

Went for 104k timing belt change, water pump, tensioner, pulley belt changes. I asked for the old tiiming belt so I could see the wear. Well, I got it back and I could swear it was New one. I looked inside my engine and it is squeaky clean ..like nothing was touched and I got charged 1000.00 bucks!.. Please tell me how could further check that there was actually service done.

That belt is in a pretty clean environment inside the engine, so take a close look at the back of the belt for worn away lettering indicating usage.

Yea belts usually just stretch so it may be hard to tell. Also I would hate to be that dealer if he ripped you off that is a serious crime. 1000 bucks lol he would be screwed.

Also new belts are going to have a certain amount of "memory". This means that they will want to return to their packing and shipping shape. A used belt will be pretty flexible and as others have noted, will display wear characteristics.

You definitely want to be sure the work was done as was agreed since our TL's have interference engines (one of Honda's most ridiculous designs). If they are fraudulent in their work and did not do the replacement and the belt breaks, your engine will most certainly suffer serious damage.

Is there any seals that had to be broken to get at the timing belt, water pump? even a bolt that would have to be removed that would have noticeable wear from wrenches ? There is not a fingerprint on my plastic covers.. its crazy !

Is this an Acura dealer?? I seriously doubt a new car dealer would screw you like that, I mean $1,000 is more than enough to actually do the work, and NOT doing the work would bring far in excess of $1,000 worth of hassles and bad press....
As for being clean, maybe they just work clean - that would be a good thing.

you can the check the engine ground wire bolt that is in the timing belt area. mine was rusted before and the seal was broken after my timing belt change. so they definitely did something lol
